August 22, 2017 Council approved Change Order 4 (contractor change orders 29, 30, and a tot lot <br />deduction) <br />January 9, 2018 Council approved Change Order 5 (contractor change orders 32 and 33) <br /> <br />Financial Impact: The original contract amount, which was based on estimated quantities, was <br />$1,933,515.00 and the final construction contract is $2,337,268.46. Please see attached payment <br />breakdown for details. <br /> <br />Explanation: New Brighton and Ramsey County cooperated in the planning of improvements that were <br />included as part of City Project 16‐5, New Brighton Lions Park. The City of New Brighton was the lead <br />and was responsible for administering City Project 16‐5. The construction of the park is complete. <br /> <br />Costs and Funding: This project is funded from a variety of sources including: Park Dedication Fees <br />(secured and future), Rice Creek Watershed District (Hansen Project), Utility Funds, the Redevelopment <br />Fund, and Fund #606 (Pavement Management), a Lions Club Donation and Ramsey County. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Craig G.
