Development Team <br />  <br />Aeon will serve as the Managing General Partner of a to-be-formed limited partnership and will finance, entitle, and construct the project with an experienced and skilled team of housing development professionals. <br /> <br />Alan Arthur, President and CEO aarthur@aeonmn,org | 612-746-0540 <br />Alan has served as the president/chief executive officer of Aeon since 1988. Alan oversees the organization’s 3,900 apartment homes in Minnesota and brings more than 45 years of experience in housing and real estate development, including construction, project development, lending, code enforcement and city planning. He earned a B.A. in political science from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. Alan teaches affordable housing development, financing and organizational governance issues to a variety of organizations, and serves on numerous local and national housing boards and task forces. <br />Alan has the authority to make legally binding commitments on behalf of Aeon and the development team. <br /> <br />Blake Hopkins, Vice President of Housing Development bhopkins@aeonmn.org | 612-746-0517 In August 2017, Blake joined Aeon’s leadership team as the Vice President of Housing Development after joining Aeon in 2015 as a Senior Project Manager. He brings nine years of experience working in affordable housing and community development throughout the country. Blake’s responsibilities at Aeon include managing the housing development process from site acquisition through permanent financing conversion. Previously, Blake worked for an affordable housing consulting firm, the State of Texas as an Affordable Housing Tax Credit Underwriter, and as a Project Manager for an affordable housing development company in California. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Oregon and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California. <br />Miranda Walker, Senior Project Manager <br />mwalker@aeonmn.org | 612-746-0536 <br />Miranda joined Aeon in 2012. She has a range of professional and volunteer experiences that include work with <br />Hands On Twin Cities and Habitat for Humanity. Miranda also spent a year as an AmeriCorps VISTA in the <br />Mississippi Delta where she coordinated a regional farmer’s market network.
