His <br />vehicle is being held for forfeiture. <br /> <br />On December 10, DWI Officer Farmer stops a vehicle for equipment and moving <br />violations. The driver, 26 year old man from Woodbury, shows signs of impairment and <br />fails field sobriety tests. A search warrant was obtained for a urine sample. The driver is <br />booked for 4th degree DWI. <br /> <br />On December 14, squads were dispatched on two intoxicated parties causing a <br />disturbance at Cub. Officer Xiong locates the vehicle leaving the scene. The vehicle was <br />slow to stop then the driver ends up climbing into the back seat. The driver's 26 year old <br />son was in the front seat with him. The driver, a 47 year old from Braham, was initially <br />uncooperative but eventually complies. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed <br />under arrest. The DMT' revealed a blood alcohol concentration of .12. The driver has a <br />43 page criminal history and is a registered sex offender that just got out of prison earlier <br />this year (supposedly). He was booked for 4th degree DWI. <br /> <br />On December 19, DWI Officer Farmer is on routine patrol when a he stops a vehicle for <br />equipment and moving violations. As he speaks with the driver, a 53 year old from New <br />Brighton, Officer Farmer gets an inconsistent story on drug use. The driver failed field <br />sobriety tests and is placed under arrest for DWI. A search warrant obtained and a <br />sample is taken. The driver is booked for 2nd degree DWI and his vehicle is held for <br />forfeiture. <br /> <br />On December 22, Officer Amberg is dispatched on a road rage incident involving a <br />possible drunk driver. Officers locate the vehicle and the driver, a 32 year old New <br />Brighton man, is showing signs of impairment. He fails field sobriety tests. He is placed <br />under arrest and his vehicle is towed. He agrees to submit to a breath test which reveals <br />a BAC of .12. He was booked for 3rd degree DWI. <br /> <br />On December 23, squads responded on a caller reporting a possible drunk driver. The <br />vehicle is located and the officers observe the driver, a 40 year old New Brighton man, <br />exits the vehicle and falls over. The driver is showing signs of alcohol impairment. He is <br />too intoxicated to perform all the field sobriety tests. He is arrested and agrees to take the <br />breath test. He provides a breath sample which reveals a .38 BAC. The jail would not <br />accept him with such a high BAC. He was sent to Unity due to medical concerns. <br /> <br />On December 31, squads were notified of vehicle in the ditch. Squads located the vehicle <br />unoccupied. The registered owner of vehicle had an address listed in New Brighton. <br />Squads checked the area and located a female walking. The female (a 37 year old New <br />Brighton woman) smelled of alcohol and was later identified as the registered owner. The <br />female was arrested and the car keys were located in arrestee's purse. A Miranda advisory <br />was given and the female refused to answer questions. She submitted to a breath test <br />which revealed a BAC of .20. She was booked for 2nd degree DWI and a “B” card <br />violation. Her vehicle was forfeited. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
