<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Public Safety Commission <br />April 9, 2018 City Hall <br />Council Chambers 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Vice Chair Hollimon. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Boyd, Conway, Cook, Hollimon, Kessler, Malone, and <br />Palmeri. Commissioners Ghouse and Wagner arrived late. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Tony Paetznick, Council Member Emily Dunsworth and Bruce <br />Hildebrandt (Allina Health). <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Boyd, seconded by Conway to approve the April 9, 2018 agenda as amended moving <br />the Allina Health Update after Approval of Minutes. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Malone, seconded by Cook to approve the March 12, 2018 minutes as presented. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />VI. Reports and Updates <br /> <br />A. Allina Health <br /> <br />Bruce Hildebrandt stated Dave Matteson was out in River Falls which meant he would be <br />providing the first quarter statistics to the Commission. He noted there was a total number of <br />546 calls in the months of January, February and March. Response times and transportation <br />percentages were reviewed in further detail. He compared these numbers to the first quarter of <br />2017. He noted response times were approximately 30 seconds slower in 2018 when compared <br />to 2017. He reported this was generally weather related. The top five types of calls being made <br />in New Brighton were inter facility evaluations, sick person/fall, <br /> <br />Director Paetznick requested Allina provide the Public Safety Department with the top five <br />addresses receiving Allina services in the City of New Brighton. <br /> <br />
