1 <br />RESOLUTION <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A SITE PLAN <br />AMENDMENT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application has been made by Donald Wyland on behalf of Pets Remembered to <br />revise the dimensions of a building addition previously approved via City Council Resolution <br />2017-071 for 15 2nd AVE SE, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br />1. The applicant submitted a Site Plan request on January 11, 2018. <br />2. The Planning Commission considered the request on January 16, 2018. <br />3. The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval on January 16, 2018. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following Findings of Fact with respect to the <br />revised Site Plan (PSP17-0004): <br />1. The property is zoned I-1, Light Industrial. <br />2. The property is guided in the Comprehensive Plan for Light Industrial. <br />3. The applicant originally was approved to building a 10’ x 25’ addition per Resolution 2017- <br />071. <br />4. The applicant is proposing to revise the dimensions of the addition to 12’ x 22’. <br />5. No other revisions, other than the building dimensions, are proposed. <br />6. The Planning Commission reviewed the amended Site Plan against the I-1, Light Industrial <br />standards of Section 6-060, performance standards of Section 6-390, and parking standards <br />of Chapter 11 of the Zoning Code. <br />7. The Planning Commission found all Site Plan standards to be met. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that based upon the above findings of fact the application <br />for a revised Site Plan (PSP17-0004) is hereby recommended to the City Council for approval. <br /> <br />Adopted this 16th day of January 2018. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Erin Nichols Matkaiti, Planning Commission <br />Chair <br /> <br /> <br /> Janice Gundlach, Assistant Director of <br />Community Assets & Development/Planning <br />Director <br />
