"""' Co . ° THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday <br />September 25, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the New Brighton Council Chambers. <br />Present: Mayor Johnson, Councilmembers Allen, Burg, Dunsworth, and Jacobsen <br />Absent: <br />Also Present: Tony Paetznick-Interim City Manager, Sarah Sonsalla-City Attorney, Ben Gozola- <br />Assistant Director of Community Assets & Development <br />Call to Order I Call to Order <br />Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br />Mayor Johnson led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Public Comment Forum <br />Mayor Johnson opened the Public Forum for comments from the public. <br />Approval of Agenda <br />Approval ofthe September 25, 2018 Council Agenda. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Allen to approve the <br />agenda as submitted. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays -Motion Carried <br />Council Minutes <br />None. <br />Commission Minutes <br />Mayor Johnson received the following minutes on behalf of the City: <br />PREC Minutes from August 1, 2018. <br />Planning Commission Minutes from August 21, 2018. <br />Special Order of Business <br />Annual Update by Ramsey County Sheriff Serier <br />Ramsey County Sheriff Serier provided the Council with an update from the Sheri$'s office. He explained <br />thanked the Council for their time. He introduced Under Sheriff Booker Hodges. He commented on how the <br />County was addressing the opioid crisis and encouraged residents to tum in their unused prescriptions.
