<br />II <br />I. <br />., <br /> <br />". <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-082 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 94-3, STREET RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and <br />heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br /> <br />The benefitted lots abutting the following streets: <br />3rd Street NW - 14th Avenue NW to 16th Avenue NW <br />14th Avenue NW - County Road E to 3rd Street NW <br />15th Avenue NW - County Road E to 3rd Street NW <br />16th Avenue NW - County Road E to 3rd Street NW <br />16th Avenue NW - Canyon Lane to 5th Street NW <br />Bristol Avenue Sioux Court <br />Canyon Lane Sioux Boulevard <br />Fairfield Drive Tioga Court <br />Inca Lane Tioga Boulevard <br />Kiowa Avenue <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />The construction of curb and gutter, storm sewer, and bituminous surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $249,382.80. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data Processing Improvement <br />Number 6388, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands <br />named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) <br />years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1996 and shall <br />bear interest at the rate of 6.75 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment <br />resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment <br />to the County Auditor p~y the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to <br />the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire <br />assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time <br />thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest <br />accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br />5.
