<br />I; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.Q t;-o 5 5 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADJUSTING COMPENSATION RATES FOR NON-UNION PERSONNEL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation rates for the Pay Plan for non-union personnel must be set <br />annually by Council resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council adopted compensation rates and insurance contributions for non- <br />union employees on December 20,1994 as part of Council Report 94-303 and Resolution <br />94-144; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council recently approved a two year bargaining agreement with the <br />Teamsters Local #320 on June 12, 1995 as part of Council Report 95-105; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council wishes to keep wage and benefit increases as equal as practical <br />between all employee groups, union and non-union; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a .5% wage adjustment for non-union employees retroactive to January 1, 1995 <br />in place of the .5% wage adjustment effective July 1, 1995 would be necessary to make <br />non-union employees wage increase comparable to the Teamsters; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />1 . The 1995 compensation rates for non-union personnel shall be increased. 5 % as of <br />January 1, 1995 instead of July 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />ance Director/City Clerk <br />
