Jacobson j7JV <br /> <br />..., <br /> <br />MANAGER'S REVIEW/RECOMMENDATION: <br />No comments to supplement this report+- <br /> <br />Comments attached <br /> <br />Explanation: <br /> <br />The City of New Brighton has maintained an agreement with Olson's Premier Cleaning Service since February <br />16, 2005 for cleaning services for the Public Safety Center. The Dept. of Public Safety has determined that it <br />would be in the City's best interests to change cleaning services for the Public Safety Center. The Director of <br />Public Safety has worked with the Assistant City Manager for an alternative cleaning service. Discussions were <br />held with representatives of Coverall Cleaning Concepts. Mr. Doug Larson, representative of Coverall <br />Cleaning Concepts, has met with Deputy Director Ellickson and Director Jacobson, and has submitted an <br />agreement which is the same price as quoted by our current cleaning contractor. The cost is $2,616 per month <br />plus tax. It is also believed that Coverall Cleaning Concepts will render more services at the same cost. <br />Further, Coverall Cleaning Concepts significantly reduced their estimated contract costs becauseoftheir desire <br />to obtain the City's business, and, they are already contracted for cleaning services at New Brighton City Hall <br />with excellent results. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Approve the Maintenance Service Proposal for Coverall Cleaning Services to begin 1 February 2006. <br /> <br />1" /. f <br />.".'."..'.. /'/....
