<br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO..!l.5..::.031 <br /> <br />State of Minnesota <br />County of Ramsey <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE '95 CUSTOMER CHARGES FOR THE UTILITIES <br /> <br />Whereas, the City operates Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Utilities; <br />Whereas, in establishing the customer fees it is also prefemed that these fees be reviewed periodically; <br />Whereas, the review for 1995 operations has been completed; <br /> <br />Now, therefore be it resolved that: <br /> <br />1. The consmnption and system fees for water and sewer shall be as shown on Attachment A. <br />2. The minimwn quarterly system fee shall be $2.17 for water and $2.10 for sewer. <br />3. The winter quarter water usage shall determine the consumption fee for sewer and the system fees for <br />both water and sewer. <br />4. The winter quarter shall be defined as the water used during: <br /> <br />District #1 - November, 1994 through January, 1995 <br /> <br />District #2 - December, 1994 through February, 1995 <br /> <br />District #3 - January, 1995 through March, 1995 <br /> <br />5. If a residential customer's water service is not metered by the City then the winter quarter fees shall be <br />based on conswnption of 20,000 gallons per quarter. For all other accounts, their fees shall be set at the <br />average for similar occupant types. <br />6. If no usage data is provided then the winter quarter fees shall be prorated based on the actual readings <br />available. <br />7. For a new residential account which did not exist at the time of the winter quarter, then their system fees <br />and sewer consumption charge shall be set at a minimwn of20,000 gallons per quarter. For all other <br />new accounts, their fees shall be set at the average for similar occupant types. <br />8. Whenever user charges prescribed by this Resolution remain unpaid as of the due date, a fee of ten <br />percent (10%) shall be charged on the unpaid balance. The fee shall be cumulative. <br />9.
