<br /> <br /> <br />C. City Council Update – Paul Jacobsen, Councilmember <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson reported Devin Massopust was serving as the Acting City Manager at this <br />time. She explained Finance Director Davitt was serving as the Acting Assistant City <br />Manager. She discussed the hiring process the Council would be following to hire a new <br />City Manager and noted the City would have the assistance of a head hunting consulting <br />firm. She indicated the Council would be seeking comments from the public and would be <br />holding a meet and greet with the finalists. She commented on the Parks Comprehensive <br />Plan and noted a final report should be presented to the Council in the coming months. She <br />stated the Public Works Department has been busy keeping the City free and clear of snow <br />and thanked them for their efforts. She commented on the recent life saving awards that <br />were handed out at the last City Council meeting and encouraged the Commission members <br />to watch the November 26th meeting. She discussed how the City was working to prepare for <br />the ice castle and Barts Brother snow sculpture. She explained the Council would be <br />discussing the function and flow of materials to and from its Commissions in early 2020. <br /> <br />VII.
