She stated the Commission would have several vacancies this year. She reported the Planning Commission meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. and acted as an advisory board to the City Council. She reviewed the items the Commission addressed in 2018 and discussed the development project highlights. She commented on the anticipated 2019 issues. Councilmember Burg thanked Chair Nichols-Matkaiti for her strong leadership on the Planning Commission. Councilmember Dunsworth stated she was very impressed by the hard, in depth questions the Planning Commission was asking of staff. She thanked the Planning Commissioners for doing a great job on behalf of the City. Councilmember Jacobsen thanked the Planning Commission for doing the tough work and heavy lifting on behalf of the City Council. Mayor Johnson thanked Chair Nichols-Matkaiti for her great leadership and a job well done with the Planning Commission. 4. Annual Report from Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission Chair Kevin Fields. Chair Kevin Fields provided the Council with the annual report from the PREC. He thanked Director Fink for all of her efforts and discussed the issues that were addressed by PREC in 2018. He reviewed the items the group would be addressing in 2019 and thanked the Council for their continued support. Councilmember Jacobsen thanked PREC for the great work they do on behalf of the community and thanked Chair Fields for his great leadership with this group. Councilmember Burg thanked Chair Fields for his service to the City and for being a great member of the community. She stated she was looking forward to learning more from PREC after the Strategic Park Plan was complete. Councilmember Dunsworth stated she believed PREC had an exciting year ahead of them and she looked forward to following this group in 2019. Consider Authorization to Purchase Two Ford F-150 Trucks for Parks Maintenance. 7. Consider Approval of Inclusive Community Task Force Report. Motion by Councilmember Dunsworth, seconded by Councilmember Burg to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. Mayor Johnson commented on the Inclusive Community Task Force Report and encouraged residents to read through this document.
