These <br />items can generally be defined as existing utility conflicts and roadway constructability which are outlined below. <br />PROJECT 18-1, 2018 Street Rehabilitation <br />CHANGE ORDER 1 <br />Actual Quantities Installed in 2018/2019 <br />Existing Utility Conflicts: The relocation of 18 residential sewer and water services was required due to the installation of the 48" storm sewer line located along Pike Lake Drive and 13th Street NW. <br />Roadway Constructability: During construction unexpected unsuitable material was encountered within the street corridor. To achieve adequate strength and ensure pavement longevity the soft material was removed and replaced with <br />geotextile fabric and additional class 5 aggregate base. Additional concrete curb and gutter was also removed and replaced as a result of the unsuitable material removal.
