<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Park & Trail System Plan Steering Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 16, 2019 <br />5:30 pm <br /> <br />Present: Jeanne Frischman, Matthew Johnson, Al Stauffacher, Tim McQuillian, Pam Stegora Axberg, Michael <br />Schute, Stephanie Malone, Emily Dunsworth, Ruben Vazquez <br /> <br />Staff and Consultants in Attendance: Candace Amberg, WSB; Eva Kelly, WSB; Jennifer Fink, Director of Parks <br />and Recreation; Jason Hicks, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation <br /> <br />Project Roles and Responsibilities <br />Amberg reviewed roles and responsibilities of the consultant, City staff, and Steering committee members. <br />Expectations of Steering Committee members include: <br /> Attend and participate in three meetings covering the following topics: <br />o Project Visioning and Brainstorming <br />o Data findings, project review and facilities programming <br />o Draft Plan Review <br /> Spread the word about the plan including how residents can comment online or attend open house <br />meetings <br /> Update commissions, council and other groups with information relating to the Parks and Trail System <br />Plan/ <br /> Provide feedback to Parks and Recreation Director Jennifer Fink on feedback or questions you are <br />hearing in the community and from stakeholders regarding parks and trails. <br /> <br />Project Roles and Responsibilities <br />Amberg provided an overview of the project and process being used. <br /> <br />Community Engagement <br />Amberg shared findings from Neighborhood Meetings held February 26, 2019 in Totem Park and March 26, <br />2019 in Sunny Square Park.
