<br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Consideration of Ordinance 871 and the Resolution Approving a Summary <br />Publication of Ordinance 871 Adopting the 2020 Fee Schedule <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD’S APPROVAL: Brenda Davitt <br />ACTING CITY MANAGER’S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report ___ Comments attached ___ <br /> <br />Recommendation: Adoption of Ordinance 871 establishing the Fee Schedule for 2020 and the <br />Resolution to approve a summary publication for Ordinance 871. <br /> <br />Legislative History: The Fee Schedule is reviewed and updated where necessary and appropriate at <br />least annually. Each department/division is responsible for their respective sections. <br /> <br />It is recommended that the Fee Schedule be adopted by the City Council in Ordinance 871 form. It is <br />also recommended that the Resolution approving a summary publication for Ordinance 871 be <br />adopted. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: The City will begin charging 2020’s fees and rates effective January 1, 2020. <br /> <br />Explanation: Attached is the recommended 2020 Fee Schedule. Upon adoption, the 2020 <br />Fee Schedule and Ordinance 871 will be published in our designated newspaper. The annual <br />publishing of the Fee Schedule will assist in informing the residents of New Brighton of 2020’s fees <br />and rates.
