<br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Fynewever recommended Jack Winkel be appointed to PREC. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson suggested Gary Bank be appointed to PREC noting Gary was a master naturalist. She noted <br />Mr. Winkel was interested in serving on the Public Safety Commission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen stated he was going to suggest Mr. Winkel serve on the Public Safety Commission <br />and supported Gary Banks serving on PREC. <br /> <br />The Council supported appointing Gary Banks to PREC. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson questioned if some of the Public Safety Commission appointments should be staggered given <br />the fact the Council would be making six appointments this year. City Manager Massopust reported staff was <br />recommending one of the appointments expire in 2022 and the remaining five expiring in 2023. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen supported two of the terms expiring in 2022. The Council was in agreement. <br /> <br />The Council supported the reappointment of Robert Boyd, Amina Ghouse, Tonya Kessler (2022 term), and <br />Karen Wagner (2022 term). <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen recommended Jack Winkel and Ezekiel Agbossou also be appointed to the Public <br />Safety Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fynewever supported this recommendation. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson noted Rachel Nelson would not be reappointed to the EDC given the fact she has been tardy or <br />absent from several meetings. She requested City Clerk Spangrud contact all of these individuals to ensure the <br />appointments could be made and noted the Council would then vote on the matter at the May 26th City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dunsworth recommended the Council revisit the Council liaison positions. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson reviewed the liaison positions and asked if Councilmember Fynewever was available to serve <br />on the EDC. <br /> <br />Councilmember Fynewever reported she would not be able to attend these meetings. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson commented she would be happy to sit in on these meetings. The Council supported this <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Fynewever stated she would be happy to serve as an alternate as a liaison if a Councilmember <br />would not be able to attend a meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dunsworth supported this suggestion. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson proposed the Councilmember Jacobsen serve as the Acting Mayor for the remainder of the <br />year. The Council supported this recommendation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jacobsen asked who would be serving as the liaison to NYFS. <br />
