Page 5
May 11, 2018
629 Old Highway 8 NW, New Brighton MN
Project: 5-14-18

D. Discussion

D.1. Asbestos-Containing Materials

The inspection and survey for the purpose of demolition located asbestos containing materials that will be
impacted by the upcoming work.

Asbestos containing sink insulation located in the break room sink.

E. Remarks

In any building the potential exists for asbestos-building materials to be located inside walls, above
ceilings, under floors, and other inaccessible areas. This inspection attempted to identify asbestos building
materials in these inaccessible areas. However, it was not feasible to inspect 100 percent of these areas.
Also, the potential exists for asbestos materials to be found outside the building buried underground. TL
Erickson Enterprises, LLC cannot be held responsible for the presence of any such hidden materials. In the
case of demolition, contractors involved in the project should be made aware of this potential. If p reviously
unidentified suspect asbestos building materials are exposed during their activities, they should be sampled
and analyzed for content prior to disturbance. Services performed by TL Erickson Enterprises, LLC for
this project have been conducted in a manner consistent with the level of care ordinarily exercised by
members of the profession currently practicing in the area under similar budget and time constraints. No
warranty, expressed or implied, is made. Bulk asbestos analysis was conducted in accordance with the
Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA Method 40 CFR, Chapter 1, Part 763, Subpart F, and Appendix
A (7/1/87 Edition). Detailed quality control information is available upon request. Bulk samples are
retained at the laboratory for 30 days and then disposed of, unless instructed otherwise.
F. Asbestos Building Inspector Certification

I, the undersigned, do hereby certify that I am an accredited Asbestos Building Inspector in the State of
Minnesota. A photocopy of my current asbestos inspector certificate is attached to this section.

Signature: _______________________________ Date: May 11, 2018
Todd Erickson Inspector # AI 523
