Scope of Services

The scope of our services was limited to:

 Visually examine accessible areas and identify the locations of suspect asbestos containing building
materials (ACBM).
 Collect and have analyzed representative bulk samples of materials suspected of containing asbestos.
Examples of materials collected for analysis included: (list of materials)

B. Site Description

The Site is an Operating Church building that had been previously a school. The building is a split level
style structure on the north end and a slab on grad structure on the south end. The South end appeared to be
of a later addition and building style.

The North end of the building has an upper and lower level. The upper level is heated through a duct
system that is located in the plenum of the building. The lower level has duct work in the walls that was
observed to be insulated in various location. The ductwork that is visible in the lower level is not insulated
from the old boiler room.

The north end of the building also has a chapel that is a newer structure this is a single level structure.

The South end of the building is a slab on grade building with a tunnel system that contains the heating
system. The south end is heated by radiant heat from the boilers.

The roof is a flat level roof that the exposed area was sampled. Due to the age and of the roof, no samples
were obtained from under the rubber roof system. As this is an operating building, no guarantee that the
roof system could be sealed back to existing condition limited the sampling to surface materials.
