<br /> CORRIDOR REVITALIZATION APPLICATION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Required Attachments <br /> Project Narrative. <br /> Map identifying location of project and other <br />relative illustrative material. <br /> Project cost estimates. <br /> Anticipated implementation and/or <br />construction schedule. <br /> <br />Project Narrative <br />The proposed strategy and supporting rationale will be competitively evaluated on the extent to which <br />they generate measurable, positive impacts commensurate with the proposed level of investment. Please <br />provide a project narrative using the following evaluation criteria: <br /> <br />Capacity: (15 points) <br /> Organizational capacity and plan for accomplishing the objectives. <br /> Completeness and appropriateness of the implementation plan. <br /> Leverage of funds, including matching sources of funds for the proposed activities and <br />additional investments along the corridor. <br /> <br />Engagement & Racial Equity: (20 points) <br /> Promote equitable development and economic inclusion. <br /> Demonstrate inclusive community engagement with communities of color and/or American <br />Indian communities. <br /> Demonstrate inclusive community engagement with vulnerable road users such as youth, <br />seniors and differently-abled individuals. <br /> Engage local community and cultural organiza tions. <br /> <br />Growth: (40 points) <br /> Create and/or increase access to high-quality jobs, housing affordable at a range of income <br />levels, and transportation options <br /> Projects which address Met Council allocation of affordable housing. <br /> Projects which may lead to increased tax base. <br /> Generate private investment commensurate with the public investment. <br /> <br />Increase Vitality: (25 points) <br /> Projects that strengthen commercial areas and make them more vibrant. <br /> Promote a more active, healthy community through pedestrian and bike planning. <br /> Significance of the corridor to the community. <br />
