CORRIDOR REVITALIZATION APPLICATION Required Attachments  Project Narrative.  Map identifying location of project and other relative illustrative material.  Project cost estimates.  Anticipated implementation and/or construction schedule. Project Narrative The proposed strategy and supporting rationale will be competitively evaluated on the extent to which they generate measurable, positive impacts commensurate with the proposed level of investment. Please provide a project narrative using the following evaluation criteria: Capacity: (15 points)  Organizational capacity and plan for accomplishing the objectives.  Completeness and appropriateness of the implementation plan.  Leverage of funds, including matching sources of funds for the proposed activities and additional investments along the corridor. Engagement & Racial Equity: (20 points)  Promote equitable development and economic inclusion.  Demonstrate inclusive community engagement with communities of color and/or American Indian communities.  Demonstrate inclusive community engagement with vulnerable road users such as youth, seniors and differently-abled individuals.  Engage local community and cultural organiza tions. Growth: (40 points)  Create and/or increase access to high-quality jobs, housing affordable at a range of income levels, and transportation options  Projects which address Met Council allocation of affordable housing.  Projects which may lead to increased tax base.  Generate private investment commensurate with the public investment. Increase Vitality: (25 points)  Projects that strengthen commercial areas and make them more vibrant.  Promote a more active, healthy community through pedestrian and bike planning.  Significance of the corridor to the community.
