Call to Order <br />Acting Chairperson Zisla called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m. Due to the COVID-19 <br />pandemic this meeting was held virtually. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members Present .....................Acting Chair Paul Zisla, Commissioners Bret Fynewever, <br />Clint Kuipers, Mike Murlowski, Max Nundahl, and Jacqui <br />Sauter <br />Members Absent ......................Commissioners Bob Benke, Harry Carter, and Anthony <br />Pledger <br />Also Present ..............................Ben Gozola (Assistant Director of Community Assets & <br />Development) <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br />The agenda moved forward as presented. <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes will be approved at the September EDC meeting. <br />V. Report from Council Liaison <br />Gozola provided the Council with a brief report from the City Council. He discussed the <br />COVID Housing Assistant Program (CHAP) that was proposed in July to help renters or <br />mortgage holders. He explained this program was to be geographical in nature and would <br />be offered by the County. He commented on the CARES Act dollars the City would be <br />receiving to assist with covering COVID-19 expenditures. It was noted these dollars had to <br />be spent by November 15th. He indicated the City would have a pool of money it would <br />like to set aside from the CARES Act dollars in order to assist local businesses, renters and <br />mortgage holders. <br />
