Page 1 <br />REQUEST FOR COMMISSION CONSIDERATION <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau Presentation <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD’S APPROVAL: <br />CITY MANAGER’S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report ___ Comments attached ___ <br />Recommendations: Listen to presentation by the Twin Cities Gateway Visitor’s Bureau, ask <br />questions as needed, and provide feedback on how this organization can <br />better assist New Brighton to achieve our shared goals <br />History: none <br />Financial Impact: Significant if resources like the Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau can <br />help draw people into our community <br />Update: Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau is the local convention and visitors <br />bureau that represents the City of New Brighton and eight other north metro <br />member cities. Its primary purpose is to generate incremental visitation into <br />and throughout these member cities to stimulate tourism-related economic <br />impacts and growth.
