Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Acting Chair Johnson. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Kevin Fields, Amelia Kuiper, Matt Johnson, Zachary Johnson, <br />Abe McEathron, Julia O’Rourke, and Charles Warner. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Pam Axberg and Mike Santi. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Jennifer Fink; Assistant Director Jason Hicks; and Council Member Mary <br />Burg. <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by O’Rourke, seconded by Fields to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried <br />7-0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by O’Rourke, seconded by Johnson to approve the November 6, 2019 minutes as <br />presented. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Motion by O’Rourke, seconded by Fields to approve the December 4, 2019 minutes as <br />presented. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />V. Business Items <br /> <br />A. Review of the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan – Jennifer Fink, Director and <br />Candace Amberg, WSB, Inc. <br /> <br />Director Fink stated in November of 2018, the City Council authorized the Parks and <br />Recreation Department to enter into an agreement with WSB, Inc. to create a 20 year <br />Comprehensive Plan for the Parks and Recreation system. WSB was selected in December <br />2018 and since that time, has been working to create an inclusive and comprehensive plan <br />for the parks system. This plan ultimately will reside as a part of the City’s overall 2040 <br />comprehensive plan. In September, WSB attended the Commission meeting and presented <br />some of the initial findings and themes from the engagement process. The purpose of this
