Q.T.
Property Management, LLC, et. al., Case No. 62 -CV -20-2646, Ramsey County District Court
Explanation:
Plaintiffs, Defendant City of New Brighton, and Defendants Q.T. Property Management, LLC; Quality Trusted
Commercial Construction and Roofing, Inc.; Pike Lake, Q, LLC; Pike Lake Z, LLC; QT Commercial, Inc.; Q.T.
Commercial, LLC; Q.T. Holdings, LLC; Jason Quilling (collectively referred to as the "QT Defendants") wish to
avoid the time, expense, inconvenience, and uncertainties of litigation. Nothing in the Settlement Agreement
will be construed to be an admission of liability by any party. The settlement will result in the dismissal of all
claims against the City, including the cross-claims that Pike Lake, Q, LLC and Pike Lake Z, LLC asserted against
the City. The City will contribute $10,000 towards the settlement. The release of claims under this settlement
covers all claims that were asserted in the action and those that could have been brought. This settlement
seeks to resolve the class action, which requires the court's approval. Again, by approving this Settlement
Agreement, the City does not admit any liability or validity of any claim in this matter.
Please review the Settlement Agreement for more details.
The Plaintiffs and the QT Defendants have approved and signed this Settlement Agreement.
City staff recommend that the Council approve this Settlement Agreement.
Devin Massoliust
City Manager
Attachments:
• Class Action Settlement Agreement with Plaintiffs' and QT Defendants' Signatures, and Exhibits
