maintained by the property owners. A permit will be required for all sewer and water connections
and shall be inspected by Public Works.

2. The owner/engineer will need to obtain a permit from MnDOLI for watermain construction and
internal plumbing design.

3. Any hydrant(s) to be installed shall be Clow Medallions. Existing hydrants that are removed during
construction shall be salvaged and delivered to the Public Works Department. Public Works and
Public Safety will review existing hydrant condition as new hydrants may be required.

4. Hydrant location and the fire department connections need to be coordinated with the Fire
Marshall.

5. All watermain pipe to be CL 52 ductile iron pipe with Clow resilient wedge gate valves. The
proposed layout will need to include 45 degree bends in lieu of the 90 degree bends shown.

6. A minimum vertical separation of 18 inches must be provided between sanitary and watermain
crossings.

7. Provide a plan profile for watermain on south side of property. When making connection to existing
watermain, contractor to note elevation of watermain (near the round about). With the proposed
grades, it is unclear if the depth of storm sewer, and watermain will conflict. Raising or lowering
the main may be required (which may require insulation).

8. A separate utility plan needs to be provided for clarity and review.

Sanitary Sewer

1. The sanitary sewer services are to be considered private and shall be constructed and
maintained by the property owners. A permit will be required for all sewer and water connections
and shall be inspected by Public Works.

2. Provide a separate utility plan so sewer service locations are clear.

3. Plans to indicate rim and invert elevations of this existing line.
