No new <br />lots will be created as a result of this platting process. PIDs: 17-30-23-41-0013, <br />17-30-23-42-0004, 17-30-23-43-0005, and 17-30-23-42-0006 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD’S APPROVAL: <br />CITY MANAGER’S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report ___ Comments attached ___ <br /> <br />Deadline: The 120-day review period for this plat review expires on 3/12/2020. <br />Recommendations: Council is asking the Planning Commission to provide guidance and <br />feedback on right-of-way issues in light of applicant concerns raised <br />following the December Commission meeting. <br /> Staff believes the combined preliminary and final plat can still be <br />approved with conditions. <br />Legislative History: Complete application received on 11/13/19 <br /> Public hearing held before Council on 1/14/20 <br /> Planning Commission 2nd review focusing on right-of-way issues scheduled <br />for 1/21/20 <br />Financial Impact: None. <br />Summary: Murlowski Properties Inc. are seeking to clean up the legal descriptions <br />between their properties and surrounding properties to position the property <br />for future development or sale. Through this plat, the existing four parcels <br />will be combined into two. Boundaries for the resulting parcels will mimic <br />existing parcel lines. The only visible changes will largely be to the legal <br />descriptions of the land in this area. <br />The platting process is the ONLY time a City may require the dedication of <br />additional right-of-way on property to facilitate future roadway needs. In this <br />case, the applicants currently own one of the few major undeveloped open <br />areas of property within the City which has questionable/poor access to the <br />public roadway network.
