RESOLUTION ____ <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 873 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city council of the City of New Brighton has adopted Ordinance No. 873, an <br />ordinance to amend the New Brighton zoning ordinance by conditionally rezoning certain properties <br />within the City of New Brighton (2722 I-694 service drive) from B-1, Limited Business to R-3B, High <br />Density Residential; and <br /> WHEREAS, the ordinance contains a map; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and <br />summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the <br />public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, that the City Clerk shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 873 be published in <br />the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance: <br /> <br />Public Notice <br />The City Council of the City of New Brighton has adopted Ordinance No. 873, an ordinance to <br />conditionally rezone property located at 2722 I-694 Service Drive from B-1 to R-3B (PID 19-30-23-34- <br />0010) in conformance with the City’s new 2040 Comprehensive Plan. This area, known as the <br />Benedictine Health Center campus, is guided for “Mixed Use Regional” development by the new <br />Comprehensive Plan. The proposed rezoning would allow for consideration of an amended Planned <br />Residential Development intended to address resident concerns raised in 2019. The final development <br />would be in compliance with the new Comprehensive Plan. The full ordinance text is available for <br />inspection at City Hall during regular business hours, and will be emailed or sent to any party upon <br />request. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor Valerie Johnson <br /> <br /> <br />
