Any structure for the shelter, support or enclosure of persons, animals, <br />chattel, or property of any kind affixed to the land. <br /> Building Height. The vertical distance above grade to the highest point of the <br />coping of the flat roof or to the deck line of a mansard roof or to the average <br />height of the highest gable of a pitched or hipped roof. <br /> Garage, Private. A building used primarily for the storage or care of large motor <br />vehicles including but not limited to automobiles, pickup trucks, and campers. <br /> Landscaping. The development of a lot or plot of land in a manner which <br />produces the best functional and aesthetic effect through the arrangement of <br />natural plantings and/or decorative constructions such as fences, walls, etc. <br /> Landscaping Plan. A plan which outlines in detail the proposed landscaping <br />scheme. The plan shall include all information required in Section 8-010(2). <br /> Parking Space. An area of not less than 180 square feet that measures at least 9 <br />feet by 20 feet, exclusive of access or maneuvering area, to be used exclusively as <br />a temporary storage space for a private motor vehicle. <br /> Use, Conforming. Any use of land, structure or combination thereof which is in <br />compliance with all applicable portions of the Zoning Code. <br /> <br />Applicable <br />Codes: <br /> Chapter 5, Article 1, B-1 Business District. <br />Identifies “professional services”, like Valtinson Financial, as permitted use <br />within the B-1 zoning district. <br /> Chapter 8, Article 1, Section 8-010 Site Plan Approval. <br />Identifies the process by which site plans are to be reviewed and authorized. <br /> <br />Applicant’s <br />Narrative: <br />We proposed to build a garage for my staff and clients to park in along with additional outdoor <br />parking.
