<br />RESOLUTION NO. 20‐ <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR CITY PROJECT 20‐1, 2020 <br />STREET REHABILITATION. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Valley View Lane (west of Silver Lake Road); Knollwood <br />Drive; Eastman Drive; Gregory Drive; Longview Drive (Gregory Drive to Eastman Drive); and <br />Robin Lane, and to assess benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. That the proposed improvement, called City Project 20‐1, 2020 Street Rehabilitation, be <br />referred to the Director of Community Assets and Development for study and is <br />instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost effective, <br />and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some <br />other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a <br />description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected <br />parcels. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 14th day of January, 2020, by the New Brighton City Council with a vote of _____ <br />ayes and _____ nays. <br /> <br /> <br /> Valerie Johnson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> Devin Massopust, Interim City Manager <br /> <br />Terri Spangrud, City Clerk <br />
