RESOLUTION ____ <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 869 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city council of the City of New Brighton has adopted Ordinance No. 869, an <br />ordinance to amend the New Brighton zoning ordinance by amending the City’s Official Zoning Map <br />to bring zoning classifications into compliance with the City’s new 2040 Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the ordinance is lengthy and contains maps; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.191, subd. 4, allows publication by title and <br />summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or those containing charts or maps; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary would clearly inform the <br />public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, that the City Clerk shall cause the following summary of Ordinance No. 869 be published in <br />the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance: <br /> <br />Public Notice <br />The City Council of the City of New Brighton has adopted Ordinance No. 869, an ordinance to <br />rezone certain properties throughout the City as necessary to ensure zoning classifications are consistent <br />with the land uses depicted in the 2040 Comprehensive Plan for the City. Specific properties or areas <br />rezoned as part of this ordinance include 2727 Rice Creek Terrace, 2301-2349 15th St NW, the Windsor <br />Green Townhomes and surrounding parcels, Wooded Hills Townhomes, 802-941 9th Ave NW, the <br />Oak Grove Mobile Home Park and single-family home sites along 11th Ave NW and 3rd St NW, 278- <br />298 Old Highway 8, 150 Old Highway 8, 131-160 Hansen Court, 990-1008 CR E, 103-153 Wedgewood <br />Court, 808 1st St SW, unaddressed wetlands surrounding Jones Lake, 354-696 CR D W, 366 Cleveland <br />Avenue, duplex buildings in Innsbruck 2nd Addition, and the Windsor South Apartment buildings. The <br />full ordinance text and associated maps is available for inspection at City Hall during regular <br />business hours, and will be emailed or sent to any party upon request. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor Valerie Johnson <br /> <br />
