STANDARD EXCLUSIONS: <br />Building permits, closing costs, appraisal costs, methane gas monitoring, park <br />dedication fees, security monitoring systems, site security, site surveys, soil <br />correction work, unforeseen subsurface conditions, bedrock excavation and <br />backfill, contaminated soil clean up and disposal, dewatering, winter conditions, <br />winter heat cover, frost ripping, mechanical, utility hook-up charges, fixtures and <br />equipment, job site surface protection. <br />24. PRE-LIEN NOTICE TO BUYER. <br />24.1. GENERAL CONTRACTOR PRE-LIEN NOTICE TO OWNER <br />(a) ANY PERSON OR COMPANY SUPPLYING LABOR OR <br />MATERIALS FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT TO YOUR <br />PROPERTY MAY FILE A LIEN AGAINST YOUR PROPERTY <br />IF THAT PERSON OR COMPANY IS NOT PAID FOR THE <br />CONTRIBUTIONS. <br />(b) UNDER MINNESOTA LAW, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO <br />PAY PERSONS WHO SUPPLIED LABOR OR MATERIALS <br />FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT DIRECTLY AND DEDUCT THIS <br />AMOUNT FROM OUR CONTRACT PRICE, OR WITHHOLD <br />THE AMOUNTS DUE THEM FROM US UNTIL 120 DAYS <br />AFTER COMPLETION OF THE IMPROVEMENT UNLESS WE <br />GIVE YOU A LIEN WAIVER SIGNED BY PERSONS WHO <br />SUPPLIED ANY LABOR OR MATERIAL FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENT AND WHO GAVE YOU TIMELY NOTICE. <br />25. Miscellaneous. <br />25.1. Law to Govern. This Agreement shall be subject to and shall be construed <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota.
