March ‘21 Update
Clearscape has decided to re-open D-Rock Center, a landscape materials
retail/wholesale business, in May of 2021. We intend to rebrand the store “Clearscape
Supply.”
Historically, Clearscape has been a service provider and has not sold products. Our
original approach was to keep this focus and not open the D-Rock retail/wholesale
business after moving into the property.
After discussing the business in more depth with the Morrison family (current owners)
we decided that keeping this business open would benefit the community by
keeping a local landscaping supplier open and retain existing D-Rock retail jobs.
We also expect to see an increase in our landscaping residential installation work (ex.
mulch and paver patios) which will help counter the downward pressure Covid has
had on our commercial landscaping revenue.
We feel our previously shared designs and plans for the layout of the property will
mostly be able accommodate this update and are included in the pages that follow.
However, we do think we should make a traffic flow adjustment to of how we’ll use
the entrances and exits. See the next slide for more info.
The purchase of the property is almost complete. An extensive environmental study
was completed on March 25th. We hope to close by the first week of April.
3
