Special Use Permit Need
8
We intend to take ownership of the property in April 2021. The D-Rock store that has
operated at the location for over 30 years will be re-opened as Clearscape Supply in May
of 2021.
Clearscape Supply will provide similar products that D-Rock has in the past but with a
more limited assortment (ex. 5 mulch colors instead of 10). Our services business requires
a significant amount of the space so we simply can’t fit every product D-Rock used to sell.
Clearscape is seeking a permit to store landscaping materials and equipment outside.
We’re also seeking approval to install a parking lot within the current walls of the
property.
All landscaping equipment and employee vehicles will be stored or parked away from
public view of Old Highway 8. Visibility from the three sides of the property is mostly
obscured with an existing high wall, buildings, heavy tree cover, and lack of public access.
We intend to improve the look and feel of the property over time as well as it’s positive
environmental impact because this is what we do for a living! We also plan to use part of
the property to demonstrate to our customers what their properties can look like in the
future if they partner with us.
