06
Key Findings
Fresh Air Ventilation
0
EXHAUST CONTAIN
What We Learned
Key Findings
CLEAN
Main building space comfort control is achieved via VAV systems served by RTU -6 and RTU -7. VAVs are setup with
balanced min and max flow setpoints to achieve space conditions. VAVs have hot water reheat coils available for
comfort heating. RTUs 1 thru 5 directly control the comfort of their associated space with out the use of VAV terminal
units.
RTUs are well maintained via a Trane Preventative Maintenance agreement. All RTU supply and exhaust fans are
operational with some belt wear on belt driven units. These belts are scheduled to be replaced during the fall
Preventative Maintenance visit. Outdoor air intake is currently controlled to a fixed minimum damper position when not
actively economizing on all units. Economizing decision is made based on outdoor air enthalpy conditions. This
decision program will also disable the mechanical cooling if economizing is enabled.
TU
A.&A .M
Please click on images below for additional information:
01
I
