He stated the property at 2182 Lake Brook Drive has been rented out as an Air
BNB. He noted this use was clogging the streets with cars and noted vehicles were parking on
the grass. He indicated this home had 38 cars one night. He requested the City investigate this
property further. He stated he also had concerns about the property at 2181 Lake Brook Drive
as it was becoming a junk house. He requested
the City investigate this property further.
Tony Doroff, 518 9th Avenue NW, discussed the Midtown Village project with the Council.
He questioned why the entire City did not receive notification on this project given the fact TIF
was being used for to fund this project. In addition, he believed this project did not make the
community more walkable.
Paul Kampa, 1150 6th Street NW, stated he has lived in his home for the past 50 years. He
requested the City consider some traffic changes on 6th Street NW. He commented on a T-
bone accident that occurred two weeks ago along this roadway. He stated he would like to see
the speed along 6th Street NW lowered and that additional stop signs be installed.
Mr. Kampa expressed concern with the fact that one of the Councilmembers was in arrears
with the City for a water bill. He encouraged the Council to make sure all members of the City
are being treated fairly and that no underhanded action was taking place.
Approval of Agenda Approval of Agenda
Approval of the June 25,2019 Council Agenda.
