Updates <br /> He noted on Tuesday, October 1st a ribbon cutting ceremony would be held at the Water <br /> Treatment Plant. <br /> Mary Burg <br /> Councilmember Burg encouraged the public to consider attending the NYFS Taste of <br /> Northeast on Thursday, October 10th. She noted tickets were $30 in advance and $35 at the <br /> door. <br /> Paul Jacobsen <br /> Councilmember Jacobsen reported the Public Safety Commission would be meeting on <br /> Monday, September 9th. He reminded residents to watch for kids returning to school on <br /> Tuesday, September 3`d <br /> Emily Dunsworth <br /> Councilmember Dunsworth reported the Planning Commission met on August 20th and <br /> discussed the Big Blue Box SUP. She noted the Commission also discussed code enforcement <br /> compliance. She updated the Council on the recent Cable Commission meeting she attended <br /> and explained PEG fees were discussed. She explained she served on the Ramsey County <br /> Charter Commission and reported this group was reviewing its charter. <br /> Graeme Allen <br /> Councilmember Allen reported he attended a recent Ramsey County League of Local <br /> Government meeting where the Met Council Chair was the guest speaker. He noted <br /> transportation, bus ridership and mobility were discussed. He explained the EDC would meet <br /> next on Wednesday, September 4th. He wished everyone a safe and happy Labor Day <br /> weekend. <br /> Mayor Johnson <br /> Mayor Johnson reported Ramsey County signed a lease with the City of New Brighton for <br /> absentee voting which would be held at the New Brighton Community Center. She indicated <br /> this area would be staffed by Ramsey County. She stated she was happy about the Hansen <br /> Park rededication which would occur on Tuesday, September 24th.
