He stated he had a great time attending Music of the Night, which was the 2021 <br /> marching band competition at Irondale High School. He congratulated Mayor Niedfeldt- <br /> Thomas for receiving the 2021 Irondale Marching Knights Outstanding Alumni of the Year <br /> Award. <br /> Emily Dunsworth <br /> Councilmember Dunsworth reported Nine North would be hosting an Open House on <br /> Thursday, September 30 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br /> Pam Axberg <br /> Councilmember Axberg reported the EDC would be meeting next on Wednesday, October 6. <br /> Abdullahi Abdulle <br /> Councilmember Abdulle reported the Zoning Code Steering Committee met last Wednesday <br /> and reviewed three chapters of the code. He explained the Planning Commission met on <br /> Tuesday, October 21 where two items were reviewed. <br /> Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas <br /> Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas wished Councilmember Axberg a happy belated birthday. She noted <br /> the North Metro Mayors met in New Brighton recently and discussed joint purchasing powers. <br /> She noted the upcoming legislative session would begin in a few short months and she <br /> encouraged the Council to begin considering which items should be brought to the legislatures <br /> attention. She then discussed a soccer game she attended in the community.
