The goal of the Plan is the following: <br /> 1. Optimize pavement service life <br /> 2. Stabilize maintenance requirements <br /> 3. Minimize financial impact on the community <br /> 4. Provide uniformity and consistency in the treatment of pavement problems <br /> 5. Improve chances of obtaining project approvals <br /> 6. Provide a schedule for correction of utility and drainage <br /> Pavements typically do not last longer than 30 years without incurring significant maintenance <br /> expenses. As such, the replacement of parking lots is scheduled on a 30-year cycle. <br /> 9 <br />
