The preliminary 2022 tax levy was certified to Ramsey <br /> County and used in their calculations for their parcel-specific notices <br /> mailed to each property owner. <br /> The City is now required to hold a meeting at which the budget and levy will be discussed and the <br /> public is allowed to comment, often referred to as a "Truth in Taxation" hearing. <br /> Financial Impact: The proposed 2022 property tax levy of$11,475,600 represents an $873,200 or <br /> 8.24% increase from 2021. A median-valued single-family home of$315,700 will pay an estimated <br /> $1,142 annually or $95 monthly for the City property taxes. This is an annual increase of$143 from <br /> 2021. <br />
