She encouraged staff to be mindful of what the City would not be able to accommodate. She anticipated that once word spread about these services,the City would be going beyond the 18 hours of Reach services. He commented the worksession meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 7 was being canceled to allow for the Truth in Taxation Hearing at 6:30 p.m. He stated the City received 25 applications for the Equity Commission. Abdullahi Abdulle Councilmember Abdulle reported the Planning Commission met on Tuesday,November 16 where the group discussed a Special Use Permit Amendment for Silver Lake Smiles and action on this item was tabled to December. Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas reported the North Metro Mayors Association met last week and this group reviewed legislative priorities. She explained the ice castles would be back in January of 2022. She commented the farmers market would be held at the Community Center on December 8. She stated vaccination clinics for children ages 5 to 11 were being held at the Community Center. She noted she recently attended the Boy Scout Pack#412 meeting where civic duty was discussed. She wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Hannukah.
