Recognition of City Ambassador Terry Nelson on his Retirement Business <br /> Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas read a proclamation in full for the record recognizing Sergeant Terry <br /> Nelson for his 30 years of dedicated service to the New Brighton Public Safety Department and stated <br /> he would serve as an ambassador to the City ofNew Brighton upon his retirement. <br /> Public Safety Director Paetznick stated this was a bittersweet moment for him.He explained Sergeant Nelson <br /> would be dearly missed and appreciated the fact the City has bestowed an ambassadorship on Sergeant <br /> Nelson. He then presented Sergeant Nelson with a shadowbox of mementos from his 30+year career. <br /> Sergeant Nelson thanked the Council for the kind words and shadowbox.
