<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Public Safety Commission <br />February 14, 2022 City Hall <br />Council Chambers 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Vice Chair Wagner. Due to the COVID-19 <br />pandemic this meeting was held virtually. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Robert Boyd, Dan Judd, Leah Kuipers, Adam Stout, Karen <br />Wagner, and Jack Winkels. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Chair Geoff Hollimon and Commissioners Amina Ghouse and Stephanie <br />Kitzhaber. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Tony Paetznick, DCAD Director Craig Schlichting, Council Member <br />Graeme Allen and Dave Matteson (Allina Health). <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Boyd, seconded by Winkels to approve the February 14, 2022 agenda as presented. A <br />roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Kuipers, seconded by Judd to approve the January 10, 2022 minutes as presented. A <br />roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />V. Presentations and Business Items <br /> <br />A. Introduction of New Commissioner <br /> <br />Director Paetznick welcomed Commissioner Adam Stout to the Public Safety Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Adam Stout introduced himself noting he has been a resident of New <br />Brighton for the past six years. He reported he served as the senior pastor at Faith Christian <br />Reform Church. He noted he moved to New Brighton from Illinois in 2016. He noted he has <br />been connected with the Public Safety Department since moving to the community and has <br />done several ride alongs. He commented further on the Compassion Clinic that was held <br />with five other churches in the area. He stated he liked what the New Brighton Public Safety
