<br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Proclamation Declaring May 1 through May 7, 2022 Drinking Water <br />Week in the City of New Brighton <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD’S APPROVAL: Craig Schlichting – Director of Community Assets and <br />Development <br />CITY MANAGER APPROVAL: <br /> <br /> <br />No comments to supplement this report _______ Comments attached ______ <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Proclaim May 1 through May 7, 2022 Drinking Water Week in the City of New Brighton. <br /> <br />Legislative History: <br />In 1988, AWWA brought Drinking Water Week to the attention of the U.S. Government and <br />formed a coalition along with the League of Women Voters, the Association of State Drinking <br />Water Administrators and the US Environmental Protection Agency. Rep.
