June 14, 2022 Page 6 of 6 <br />Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas <br />Mayor Niedfeldt-Thomas reported the Equity Commission would meet next on Thursday, June <br />16 at 6:30 p.m. and noted the group would be hearing from a representative from the <br />Minnesota Department of Human Rights. She stated the grand opening for the Dominium <br />projects would be held on Tuesday, July 12. She explained she was invited to Pike Lake <br />several weeks ago by the principal in order to tour the school. She welcomed Rachel Tierney <br />with Kennedy & Graven to the meeting. She stated she would be attending the League of <br />Minnesota Cities conference in Duluth next week. She indicated Juneteenth would be <br />recognized on Sunday, June 19. She stated July was National Park and Recreation Month. She <br />commented Sunday, June 19 was Father’s Day and she wished all fathers a Happy Father’s <br />Day.
