Resolution No. 22‐ <br /> <br />State of Minnesota <br />County of Ramsey <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING YIELD SIGNS WITH STOP SIGNS ON <br />REDWOOD LANE AT FOREST DALE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton received several inquiries on the possibility of signage <br />changes for the Redwood Lane and Forest Dale Road intersection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the inquiries were referred to the Public Safety Commission for consideration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Safety Commission reviewed the traffic concerns and recommended the <br />replacement of the existing yield signs with stop signs on Redwood Lane at the intersection <br />with Forest Dale Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Code 29‐4 requires City Council to designate stop streets by resolution; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota, <br />that the existing yield signs on Redwood Lane at the intersection of Forest Dale Road be <br />replaced with stop signs. <br /> <br />Adopted this 28th day of June, 2022, by the New Brighton City Council with a vote of _____ <br />ayes and _____ nays. <br /> <br /> <br /> Kari Niedfeldt‐Thomas, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Devin Massopust, City Manager <br /> <br />Terri Spangrud, City Clerk <br />
