cÜÉvÄtÅtà|ÉÇ CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON WHEREAS Bill Graham joined the City of New Brighton on January 5, 2000 and has been a face of Public Works for nearly 23 years; and WHEREAS During the course of his 23 years of service, Bill has served as a Maintenance Worker and Street Supervisor; and WHEREAS Bill has served under the direction of Four Mayors, Three City Managers, Two Public Works Directors, One Community Assets and Development Director; Four Publics Works Superintendents and WHEREAS During the course of his 23 years of service, Bill has been vital to the response of uncountable winter events, managed an impressive sanitary sewer maintenance program, and WHEREAS Bill’s concern for the Citizens of New Brighton will leave a lasting impression; and WHEREAS Bill has represented the City of New Brighton proudly when placing Second in the state at the snowplow Roadeo, and First in the LTAP “Better Mousetrap” contest, and WHEREAS In retirement Bill will be perfecting his golf game and traveling with his wonderful wife Lori of 43 years. WHEREAS Bill’s last day with the City of New Brighton will be on January 3, 2023, and will leave the City to begin a new passage of his life called retirement; NOW, THEREFORE I, Kari Niedfeldt‐Thomas, Mayor of The City of New Brighton, Minnesota do recognize 23 years of service to the citizens of New Brighton and all City staff, we offer our sincerest congratulations and extend our heartfelt thanks, and our fondest wishes for a happy, healthy, and extremely long retirement and hereby proclaim: William (Bill) Graham A City Ambassador in the City of New Brighton.
