cÜÉvÄtÅtà|ÉÇ <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS Bill Graham joined the City of New Brighton on January 5, 2000 and has been a face <br />of Public Works for nearly 23 years; and <br />WHEREAS During the course of his 23 years of service, Bill has served as a Maintenance Worker <br />and Street Supervisor; and <br />WHEREAS Bill has served under the direction of Four Mayors, Three City Managers, Two Public <br />Works Directors, One Community Assets and Development Director; Four Publics <br />Works Superintendents and <br />WHEREAS During the course of his 23 years of service, Bill has been vital to the response of <br />uncountable winter events, managed an impressive sanitary sewer maintenance <br />program, and <br />WHEREAS Bill’s concern for the Citizens of New Brighton will leave a lasting impression; and <br />WHEREAS Bill has represented the City of New Brighton proudly when placing Second in the <br />state at the snowplow Roadeo, and First in the LTAP “Better Mousetrap” contest, and <br />WHEREAS In retirement Bill will be perfecting his golf game and traveling with his wonderful <br />wife Lori of 43 years. <br />WHEREAS Bill’s last day with the City of New Brighton will be on January 3, 2023, and will leave <br />the City to begin a new passage of his life called retirement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE I, Kari Niedfeldt‐Thomas, Mayor of The City of New Brighton, Minnesota do <br />recognize 23 years of service to the citizens of New Brighton and all City staff, we offer our sincerest <br />congratulations and extend our heartfelt thanks, and our fondest wishes for a happy, healthy, and <br />extremely long retirement and hereby proclaim: <br />William (Bill) Graham <br />A City Ambassador in the City of New Brighton. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my <br />hand and caused the Seal of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota to be affixed this 13th day of December, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> Kari Niedfeldt‐Thomas – MAYOR
