When businesses are
not a member, they are not a part of that collective voice.
 The Chamber hosts numerous networking events during the year
including a Gala, two Golf Tournaments, Business Expos, Breakfast
Networking, and Business After-Hours.
 The Chamber publishes newsletter articles dealing directly with issues
relating to local businesses.
 The Chamber connects agencies (i.e. the City, the County, utility
providers, MnDOT, etc.) to businesses to make sure all sides are informed
on issues that may impact local business.
 Most recently, the Chamber has launched a manufacturing cohort to
specifically focus on connecting area manufactures, and ensuring those
businesses have what they need to thrive.
Agenda Section: VI
Item: 1
Report Date: 12/29/22
Commission Meeting Date: 01/04/23
