17 <br />Implementation Scenarios <br />•Option 1: Move employees to the minimum if their current salary is below the minimum and all others would retain their existing salary. <br />•Option 2:Closest step without a decrease. <br />•Option 3: All employees would move to the step corresponding with individual years in position. For example, an employee with three years in position would move to step. If current salary is greater than year in position step, employee would move to step established in option 2. <br />•Option 4: Employees below the minimum would move to the minimum, then all employees who have completed over 5+ years in position would move to the midpoint (step 5). If current salary is greater than step 5, employee would move to step established in option 2. <br />***Police Officer and Detective positions were not included in implementation scenarios
