Public Safety Update – Director Paetznick <br /> <br />Director Paetznick described his part in the presidential detail during the recent visit from <br />President Biden. He discussed the Compassion Clinic that would be hosted in New Brighton <br />at Highview Middle School on Saturday, April 22. He commented on the department’s <br />involvement with the all hazards incident response team. He indicated the department <br />continues to address recruitment and retention, noting he was still looking to add members to <br />his team. He commented further on how the City’s crime numbers were encouraging for the <br />first three months of the year. Further discussion ensued regarding the department’s body <br />worn cameras. <br /> <br />VII.
