She reported the Equity Commission would meet <br />next on Thursday, August 17. She noted the next City Council meeting would be held on <br />Tuesday, August 22. She invited the public to visit the farmers market every Wednesday at the <br />Community Center from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. She encouraged the public to attend the <br />outdoor concert in Veterans Park on Thursday, August 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. She <br />noted the League of Women Voters would be hosting their summer social on Monday, August <br />21. She stated North Shore Development Corporation would be hosting a ribbon cutting <br />ceremony at the new Exchange Apartments on Thursday, August 17 at 4:00 p.m. She then <br />discussed the events that had been planned for Stockyard Days, which would be held Friday, <br />August 11 through Sunday, August 13.
