<br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-111 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-178 (FAMILY SERVICE <br />CENTER). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit has been made by the City of New Brighton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br /> <br />1. An application for a special use permit was tiled with the City of New Brighton on July 2, <br />1993. <br />2. The Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing on <br />July 20, 1993, and all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />3. The City Council considered SP-178 at its July 27, 1993, meeting. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in <br />respect to SP-178: <br /> <br />1. The site is zoned B-4, Downtown Business. <br />2. The regulations of the downtown business district specify that there shall be no construction of <br />new buildings without a special use permit. <br />3. The construction of the Family Service Center is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, the <br />downtown general development plan, and the special use standards and the B-4 zoning <br />regulations. <br />4. The construction of the Family Service Center will have a minimal impact on surrounding <br />land uses, enhance the downtown redevelopment efforts, and compliment the downtown <br />commercial and residential uses. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the application SP-178 is hereby approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1.
